USB Geek USB Letter Opener 4 Port Hub Clock

Now here's a cool little USB device that I'm actually finding to be quite handy. It's the Letter Opener USB Hub Clock from USB Geek. It's an all-in-one device that combines a 4 port hub, clock (with alarm) and an envelope opener.

This device can be powered entirely by USB, you can plug in a 5V AC adapter (not included), or you can install 3 AA batteries into the unit to power it that way.

The 4 Port Hub is USB 2.0 compatible with transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps.

Power the device up and you'll see the clock which can be set to display in either 12 or 24hr format. You can even set an alarm.

Of course, the most interesting feature of this device is the letter opener. I thought it would just be a manual type of blade that you had to pull the top of the letter through to cut it open. I was happily surprised that it's a powered opener.

Pretty cool huh? No more paper cuts using this little gadget ;o) Since I already have a nice 6 port USB hub, I'm not going to use this product for that function. But I will install 3 AA batteries into it and leave it on my desk to use just as a letter opener and a clock.
