My friends all bought cars off Ebay. We intend to drag race to see whose is the fatest. I got a Black Celica with a 3.0 engine and tire set. My friend is getting a RX7 with a 3.0 engine and tire set. And my last friend is getting an LXX Castrol Skyline with a 3.0 engine and tire set. If we all put on the same tires, whose would win? Which body is the best for racing? What tires should I use/gears to give me a boost?

I'm new to the scene here, I was just wondering if there was anywhere i can look to compare all of the different mini rc cars out there at once? Or if anyone could tell me the deal with each of them. There are so many differnt brands out there and i haven't found anyone to compare them for me. And I don't trust the sellers. Cause they're sellers. No offense. But if anyone knows of where I can go to find the differences between the Bit Char-g's and Microsizers, the Zip-Zaps, the Mini RC's, and whatever other brands are out there that I don't know about, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

same here. i was actually about to buy zip zaps on ebay, then i read about those panthers... then i looked around some more and found a ton of these cars out there. so far here is what ive seen.

1) zip zaps
2) Panthers
3) Bit Char-G
4) Digi Q

i have no clue as to whats faster, which one has better control, and which one is the most customizable. all i know is i wanna get one so bad! and all they have here is the Radio Shack Zip Zaps, which happens to be all sold out all the time.

There are a ton of Char-G clones out there.

The best sources for these cars are in the Far East. See below:

www.hlj.com - Japanese site with good variet of DijiQ.

www.toyeast.com - Great selection of Char-G, DijiQ, and many clones.

www.rcmart.com - Great selection of many types of mini rc's.

Happy Shopping

alright. im convinced that i should buy a bit char-g. thing is ive checked a ton of sites and some of the info is different. like at www.sigmaautomotive.com it shows that some cars have a 2.2 motor while others have the 1.0 motors.

is this true? id love to get a WRX but id rather buy a skyline and put a WRX body on it if the skyline is faster.

thanks.

Hi!

I'm from Germany and I got the 1.0 version of the Bit Char G of Yoshi for XMAS. As I read this forum, I heard that there are upgrades available.

I have some questions and would be happy, if anyone could answer them:
1. How much faster is the 2.6 and 3.0 motor in comparison to the 1.0 version? Significantly???
2. Is there a difference in charging time and will it run a shorter time because of the better motor? If yes, what difference is there?
3. What's this about the tires? What are the differences?
4. Is there a shop out there cheaper than EBAY?

THANKS a lot !!!!!!!

Hello everyone. I just bought a Toyota Celica with 1.0 engine from Lik-Sang, it's great but now I want another car and better engines. I'm in Norway so I have to order everything from the net, but Lik sang doesn't sell parts, only the cars. And you never know if there's a 35Mhz car or a 27... >:|

What I need is a reliable webshop with international shipping (like air mail), that has cars and parts for them.

Thanks in advance!

Evenin', folks.
Bass PikaMew.EXE here.
Just another random lurker of the Net.
A recent Bit Char-G owner.

I own the Mario Kart: Super Circuit* Yoshi model (G-11). And might I say, it's pretty cool.

I found this page as a link from where I got mine, Lik Sang. And I thought, "Eh, what they hey. Might as well post my opinions".

While I'm glad that I have one (Let's face it, Yoshi owns you all.), I'm slightly upset with how much I paid for it ($35 plus $10 S&H). I checked eBay later on, only to find it going somewhat cheaper (usually around $25). Ah, well. What's done is done.

However, I have a few questions about it.

1- I've heard about accessories (different motors and the such). And I'm curious if any of them can be used on Yoshi (because his Bit Char-G is completely prebuilt.) And if so, which would be your prefered accessories.

2- One thing has bothered me about it. On the box, it says (in English), "Radio Control machine also evolves as time goes by!" So, what's supposed to happen? He changes to a BLUE Yoshi? Or is this a Pokémon-style evolution? That is to say, from Yoshi (small Japanese reptile) to Godzilla (big Japanese reptile) ?

Since I probably won't be coming here again, if someone doesn't mind, please email your answers to my questions here. (And that's all I'm asking for. No mail letters, SPAM, chain letters, etc. Mm'kay?)

Adios.
*teleports out*

*NOTE:I say that, because "Mario Kart Advance" is the game's Japanese name, And "Mario Kart: Super Circuit" is the US name. And... I'm an American. Huzzah.

yoshi24,

1. the motors are significantly faster. they give a scale speed of 200+ more mph, and 16 to 20,000 more rpm.

2.actually, the larger motors will run longer, yet i also suggest a better battery, one at least 150 mHa. your run times will increase by 5 to 10 minutes with the better motors and battery

3.the soft tires have excellent grip, but have a low life expectancy.they have a block trade. the medium tires come stock and are all purpose. they have no tread.
the hard tires give as goor a grip, but have a high life expectancy. also, because the tread is ribbed, they increase speed and torque for the wheels.

4. try http://www.tinyrc.com . they have a great selection of parts and for a low low price.

also, if you are planning to visit the website, could you drop me a line and see what you think of my 2 threads? go to forums, then announcements, then at the bottom, select Bitchar-G/ Microsizers in the dropdown. my username is SkyLiNEz 4-eva!
the two threads are called "motor names" and
"steering problems? i have the answer!". thanks!
