is the iRacer better than the Digi Q? I'm trying to decide which is best to buy. as far as looks, they're about the same, but that's subjective. so this is what I wish to know: which is faster (compared to DigiQ, Bit Charg), has better handling...which has better overal performance. can it run safely on carpet as well?

as far as the other things go, it seems the Nikko iRacer wins since the short 2 min charge runs for 10 minutes, it's also IR, it's cheaper. Just too bad it doesn't have the LED lights feature. So for price and functionality it seems the iRacer's better. would that be a correct assumption? and are all the iRacer models the same, since I've seen some small price differences among the models.

thanks for any help,
Wesley

I just bought a microsizer kit from a hobby shop yesterday. It is a honda 2000 with stock everything. I was wondering if anyone can tell me in detail how to get the best out of my car by buying parts. I know there is a lot out there, but what I want is a fast car that has superb handling and would really like to get it doing some wheelies and jumps. Can anyone set me up? I would appreciate it! Thanks

How did u get the 2 motors to stick together? I can do it if i know how to keep them together?¿¿¿

I tried to dp that but, unfortunately, I couldn't find the batteries. Can anyone tell me where to find batteries?

[/B][/QUOTE]

you can ussally find batteries at your local hobby shop only, i tried radio shak and no luck, the battery is a hobby industry standerd, kinda like sub c (all battery pacs for high end electric racers. take it easy all?

solder the wires coming out of the charging dock, unsolder them from the controller, resolder them to the same spot where the batteries are soldered onto the remote
i did it and it works fine. no lite now tho, so you havta count the time away.

zim it depends on what you want to do, 1.0 is good for smaller tables good control, 2.2 (my favorite) you pics it up from a fall off the table alot but you can still run a race track with it. i also have a drag racer that is with a 2.2 and two batteries, i pulled the steering out of it cause it only flipped it, its ballistic, 10 ft per second, with a long wheeli at the start. as for 3.0 i have it ordered with a gear set, and of caurse im going to put another cell into it to, im looking forward to 20 feet per second

p.s. i pulled the steering out but i can still turn, only a quick tap on revers and the thing jumps to a 90 degree turn, then back to forward wheeli! yeee hooo, you want on i know it. lol

OK,
So far, I've seen Dual Cell Cars and Double Motor hook-ups but I haven't seen anything on how to do both in depth. And which car should you do it with? I've seen these things done with a Zip-Zap and a Bit Char-G. I would use a Zip-Zap because if you screw up you didn't lose too much $. Now could someone clue us in on how to make the ultimate Micro R/C Car???

If you took a Zip-zap controller and switched it to the frequency of a microsizer would it work? Say if you didnt like the way the one controller controlled?

I just installed a 2.6 motor in my microsizer and all worked well for about 3 hours or so. I then noticed that my left turn does not work. Only the right. If it does turn it is delayed. I have tried vacuming the car out and cleaning the tires and parts, but it does not seem to help. Can anyone help?

I think that a clone, the LXX Char-G, is a better car, stock. Parts are cheaper, and their bodies are better looking. Did I mention it comes stock w/ a 3.0? Go to http://www.driftkingshop.com.
Also, if you're for minimal mods to get more power, running the motor for a couple of minutes straight will warm up the oil & gears. Don't worry about the oil smell, it's just the oil warms up. You should keep the car stationary. Also taking the body off takes wieght off & betters the power to weight ratio.

There is a Bit-Charg copy for sale in the United States. It is from a company called Atomic Toys LLC, from San Diego, California. Their website is http://www.atomictoys.com. They call their cars "Z-Cars R/C". I think they contracted with Tomy's Chinese manufacturer to produce these for sale in the U.S. (By the way, I got official word from Tomy they will not import/distribute Bit-Charg cars to the US. Probably because of FCC regualtions. Their loss!!)Essentially it is an near exact copy of Tomy's Bit-Charg cars with a few differences. The differences is that the chassis is clear plastic instead of black, they added a red LED light to the car which comes on when the car goes, the transmitter is egg shaped and the car can be stored inside the transmitter, you can turn on the annoying optional car sound and light effects on the transmitter, the antenna on the transmitter is the more traditional telescoping retractable antenna which give better transmitter range than the Bit-Charg and all this for...$20.00 US! I purchased mine from Hobby People, a chain retail hobby shop in the western United States, but you can order direct from Atomic Toys. You can't beat this price! Unfortunately, it is limited to 27MHz only and two body styles. One is the Toyota Celica in red and the other is the Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe in Silver/Black two tone. They also don't have the huge hole in the back window for the receiver antenna. Unfortunately the Mercedes body does not fit on my Bit-Charg chassis because...it's too small! Quality is lower than Tomy's product, but parts are interchangeable, except the bodies. It runs a little rougher with lots of gear noise compared to the Bit-Charg (appears to be lower quality cast pinion gear). Box art is not as professional-looking as Tomy's. Atomic Toys show they have accessories similar to Tomy's, but I have yet to see them. Overall an excellent value! Now it don't have to go back to Japan to get more Bit-Charg cars for my friends. They can go to the hobby shop for themselves!

I saw all types of cars even Mariokart when I went to "The Alley" on Los angeles. It's on Santee and 12th. Street. (Downtown L.A.) All were only $10! (except for Mario and Yoshi, which were 20!) I did all my x-mas shopping there!

Can Bit Char-G's do ALL that microsizers can?

Can you buy clear bodies so that you can cusomize them?

can you add and do as many hop-ups on them?(do they have three different types of motor you can buy etc.)

The Atomic Toy cars suck. The best cheep cars you can get are the MicroRacers.

There are 3 versions of the cheep cars, the Shen Qei Qi, Panthers, SuperRacers, that are good. All the others suck but look the same. The Shen Qeu Qi MicroRacers are the best. They pull wheelies.

i can answer the second part of your question: Alkaline is just a type of battery, like NiMH, or NiCd. Both standard duracell and energizer batteries are alkaline. and for future reference, i would not recomend using NiMH or NiCd for the remote (although they would work), simply because they have a slightly lower voltage than alkalines do, to start out with.
about the motor: i don't have a mini-RC car yet, so i can't tell you, sorry. use a 2.0-2.6, you'll be all right. (j/k, i really don't have any experience with the motors)
