hmm, this case looks sweet! i'd like to know if it's like the E&B slipper, ie. syncable while in the case. didn't see anything about that on the company's website. (my PPC is a casio E125) |

I'm waiting for my Whitney CF Krussel case (www.madebywhitney.com) for my iPAQ 3835. Thanks for this look at the case- its nice to know it is a quality piece of workmanship. I am also interested in the additional clips. |

ryu: Not sure about the E125 version of this case. I do know that the m500 series and iPAQ cases won't sync in the cradle. Julie |

I really love the Krusell PDA case for my Palm Vx. I purchased one that doesn't have the Multidapt system, but does have a press-stud on the back that converts it to a handheld case. Krusell is the best! |

Julie: I am interested that you say if provides more protection than the Vaja. Is that based on the padded screen protection. I've been looking at the Vaja cases for my Ipaq 3100 but this is cheaper! |

PhilB: Yes, I'm basing it on the screen protection. Julie |

Today I received my Krusell case for my Palm m105. I ordered it on 3-12 and specified the 4 to 7 day "Priority" snail mail but had it in three days!! I was happy to note that all the holes/cutouts lined up perfectly. I was concerned that access to the stylus holder would be blocked, but there is a very nice cutout for it. I was also pleased to see that all of the holes/cutouts are reinforced with stitching. I ordered the standard spring clip version and it is even more than I had hoped for. The spring is VERY heavy, it will take some doing to accidentally remove the case from a belt. The free end of the clip part itself has a very substantial "tooth" to prevent the case from sliding off the belt. Running parallel with the clip portion and integral with the part that slides into the MultiAdapt bracket is a "tongue" that helps guide the clip onto the belt. Very slick. On the tongue there is another "tooth" that butts up against the "tooth" on the end of the clip, again to prevent slid off. m10x owners will be pleased to note that their ability to view the date and time at the press of the up button is still available with this case. On the back side of the flip cover is a leather pad that is positioned over the up button. Just pressing on the Krusell logo will activate the Clock. Very neat. The flip cover is rigid with very little give, no worries there. Overall I am very impressed with quality and engineering that went into this case. I'll see how it holds up to a few days on the job and report back. |

My Krusell case for the Ipaq 3100-3700 series arrived today. It's a bargain. Great quality and well made, and the flexibility of the Multidapt options (I got the spring clip which Meshac has described), means it will be a keeper. My only gripe is that the case is quite snug, so the microphone and charge light holes do not line up yet. I imagine the leather will stretch with use allowing the pda to sit a little further down inside, which will take care of this problem. Overall however, this is a great case for a great price. |

would anyone be willing to comment on the quality of the leather as compared to the E&B and Vaja cases? I ordered an E&B case a couple of years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the leather. It felt so unpleasant in my hand -- a sort of "cheap" feel -- that I sent it back (I had a few other complaints as well). I've had a chance to handle a Vaja case, and I liked it, but it seemed almost as if they had taken the tanning process a little too far -- the leather smell was still quite noticeable after several months of use. Guess I'm just picky. I love Bosca and would be thrilled if there were PDA cases of a similar quality, though I'm sure I couldn't afford them -- don't even mention the Ondata and Orbino cases!! so... any comments on the Krusell's leather? thanks!! |

Just received the new Krusell case for my "naked" iPAQ 3835...$29 from Data-Nation (including Priority shipping!). Received it within 3 days of online purchase. First off, let me say that I searched the 'Net for about 5 days looking over pictures, editorial reviews and everyday user reviews on cases from Vaja, Piel Frama and Krusell. In the end I decided to go with Krusell because of it's more attractive price and excellent reviews. I must say I am NOT disappointed in the least. The craftsmanship is excellent, stitching around all openings and points of material joins, my iPAQ slid in perfectly the very first time, the clasp alignment was dead-on, inner lining of velvet-like material is perfect to protect the iPAQ's (or any PDA's) finish, slots for credit/business cards and two SD cards on the inner cover AND...the leather is high-quality. To address the previous question of Krusell's leather quality as compared to that of Vaja or Piel Frama, I can only offer my personal opinion. My guess would be that most people would say the Krusell's leather is not as high-grade as the other two. Everyone has their own opinions, but when you compare the price of a $29 Krusell case to a $60 Piel Frama or a $45 (bottom-line minimum, no "customization") Vaja I find it's no contest...I go with Krusell. Yes, the other two might have a bit nicer leather, but the front cover is also more plush (on the outer side) of the Krusell and I like that -- gives a nice sense of padding -- and thought to line the inside with velvet was superb. Both the front cover and back of the case are rigid and offer an excellent level of protection. My only dislikes: (1) I'm not big on belt clips, already have a mobile phone and pager for work so no room for something else even if I wanted to, which I don't. So for me the clip holder in the back is useless, but didn't find it offered without one. Of course having it permanently attached to the case ranks about a 1 out of 10 in the "do I really care" catagory. (2) The leather lining the iPAQ's case arcs out just a bit right toward the middle of the screen instead of staying @ 90-degrees all the way from top to bottom. I figure that's due to the cut-out being full rather than having a horizontal strip (another MAJOR dislike I had with the Vaja). This minor detail on the Krusell may fade as it's broken in, but even if it doesn't I doubt it will bother the average user. Bottom line: Krusell makes one helluva nice case and I have no doubts on my decision. Until Vaja decides to cut their price by about 60% on their new line of cases, which look awsome by the way yet no longer see on the Vaja site, I'll stick with Krusell. |

I purchased a Krusell case with the belt spring clip about 3 weeks ago. Really liked the quality of the material, plus the cut & fit and finish is some of the best that I have seen in PDA cases in a long time. The whole clip mechanism is practical and actually usefull. Once the case is closed it remains reasonably thin... however the clip I had was the Slide Swivel Kit (Item # 58113). It works great when in use but had a severe weakness. The metal spring holding the two sides of the clip broke in half. My palm would hit againts the seat when I got into my car, and from this it broke the spring. The forces were lateral, but not considerable great... but obviously enough to break the metal which is very very thin. Overall I still think it's a great case in spite of this, and because of the clip design you can easilly get a new clip. |

As always and excellent review. I bought the case for my Jornada 568 and couldn't be any happier. The case fit the Jornada without any problems. Krussel has made an excellent line of PDA cases and take time to make sure the details on each case are perfect (ex. leather, stitching, cut-outs for buttons, etc.) and all at a price about 1/2 that of Vaja. I would recommend the Krussel PDA case to anyone. |

I had a Krussel case for my NR70v.... it was horrible, i couldn't access any buttons, except for the power and reset button. The case concaved at the bottom. They had good customer support, i recieved a new one free of charge. It's much better, but still concaves at the bottom. after i break into it'll be good, how long is breakin time? |
